Samaaj ki Adaalat | A shadow play on social validation

This project aims to throw light on the social validation that has become both a trend and a necessity. As we flip through the pages of history we see how society has compelled fashion to evolve and brought in new horizons. 
From the Vedic Period to the present day, the court of society has brought in and simultaneously irradicated certain ways of dressing up. This project is put together by Lipakshi Patil, Priya Mahanta, Preetal Jadhav, Savi Urgunde, and Tamanna Santra.
The Mughals, the British, and now social media impact the gradual norms of decency and that is how the evolution from bare bodies to blouses to long coats to crop tops has happened. Each culture and rule came with its own set of rules and we followed along.
Here is a glimpse of the research compilation. As you scroll down, you will visit the script and the video. The shadow play is a direct resemblance of how society is a shadow that will always be there, even if it goes unnoticed.
